Where are you based?
Your ‘standard booking’ is 2 hours – that seems excessive for what I need?
Please be assured that we only charge our Call-out Fee (which includes the first 30mins) and the actual time thereafter that Jason was working on your vehicle. So if Jason took just 15 mins after the initial 30mins, we will charge accordingly. We don’t believe you should pay more than you have to either!
Do you provide a warranty on your work?
Should you have any concerns, we are proud to offer investigation of the matter provided your last invoice/receipt from us is dated within the last 12 months, as we believe this is a generous timeframe for any issue to have manifest itself.
Do you provide a warranty on parts we have purchased from you?
Warranty on products are provided by the product manufacturer to us. So should you have any concerns, please give Jason a call and we will look into it for you.
What kind of work does your hourly rate cover?
Any time used for diagnosis, fault-finding, enquiring of any required parts, ordering of parts, collection of parts, delivery of parts, and fitment of parts is taken into account as time used to complete the work in total.
I might save money if I purchase my own parts?
This only works out financially beneficial for you if you purchased the parts before you made contact with us. However, we are here to help and make things as easy as possible for you so let us know your thoughts at the time of booking (and yes, sometimes it does work out better if you purchase yourself and we’ll be sure to let you know!)
How do you take payment?
We accept cash, EFTPOS or company cheque. Direct Transfer and/or via banking app while Jason is still with you is also acceptable.
Please have these ready for payment on the day.
I’m booking the car with you but it’s my loved one’s car.
Sounds great! Just be aware that we hold both the person who booked and the owner of the vehicle accountable for payment. So please have payment on the day.
It’s the day of my booking with you – can I squeeze in an extra little job?
Jason runs a tight schedule for which he holds an excellent reputation (isn’t it frustrating when Tradies show up 5 hours later! And we’re not THAT.) So we ask that as soon as you think you have an extra little job leading up to your booking – please call Jason to discuss as he will try to assist, if possible. If not, he will let you know.
My booking is coming up and I keep getting unnecessary reminders.

7 days prior, 48 hours prior and 2 hours prior.

I’ve bought a new car and it’s giving me trouble – can I book with you? The dealer said they will pay the bill.
We highly recommend that you refer to your selling dealer for any defects your new vehicle is presenting, as they may be able to cover the expense under the due Statutory Warranty. The best way they can do this is by using their own recommended repairer.
However, if you prefer EXACT Auto Electrics to assess, diagnose and repair the problem presented, this is great, however we do require payment from you directly.
It’s after hours – can you come out and repair for me?
We recommend contacting your Roadside Assistance provider. In many instances it is cheaper and they are able to assist within a 45 minute time frame.
Your invoice is out of my budget?
Every auto electrical job is unique. If you are working to a price, please advise at the time of booking. We will explain how the job will pan out and potential flow of costs so that you can decide if our service is right for you. No invoice should ever be a surprise!
My car is at a Construction Site, can you enter?
Jason holds a Construction White Card, however, relevant inductions etc, often take time and this is time that Jason may need to add to your bill. We don’t want to bill for “waiting around”, as that seems pretty unfair to you!
My parents’ car is at their home in an Aged Care Centre, can you enter with your work ute?
From experience, we know that residents at Aged Care Centres need extra safety precautions around them. To cover all bases, we prefer to meet you (or your parents) with their vehicle outside of the centre.
